Winter’s Embrace of Silent Death

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the winter night,
When the world is cloaked in white,
A hush falls upon the earth,
Whispering tales of death’s rebirth.

The branches bare, the winds so cold,
Stories of the ages old,
The life that once thrived so fair,
Now sleeps in death’s gentle care.

Footsteps fade in the icy glow,
Shadows dance as north winds blow,
A quiet peace in every breath,
Winter’s kiss, the touch of death.

Yet within the snow’s embrace,
Lies a promise of new grace,
For in this winter’s fleeting reign,
Life will bloom and rise again.
