Who Am I in the Mirror’s Gaze

Poetry Image

In the mirror’s gaze, I seek my name,
A silent echo whispers, never the same.
Each line and shadow tells a tale,
Of dreams fulfilled and those that fail.

Unraveling layers of what I wear,
The roles I play and burdens I bear.
In crowded rooms, among the throng,
Where do I truly feel I belong?

A journey through the past I roam,
Tracing footsteps that lead me home.
Yet in the vast expanse of time,
Who am I beyond the rhyme?

The heart’s echo, the soul’s decree,
In solitude, I find the key.
A tapestry of light and shade,
In the mirror’s gaze, I am remade.
