Whispers of Yesteryears: Echoes from the Past

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the evening, shadows softly cast,
Memories of yesteryears, whispers from the past.
Through the veil of time, in dreams they softly tread,
Bringing forth the echoes, of words once softly said.

The days that slipped away, like sand through fingertips,
Laughter, tears, and moments, now just fleeting clips.
Faces that have faded, yet in heart remain,
In the gallery of the mind, they softly entertain.

In the stillness of the night, when stars are shining bright,
The past comes gently calling, like a distant light.
It weaves a tapestry, of love and loss and dreams,
A symphony of silent sighs, in moonlight’s gentle beams.

Though time has moved us on, and years have flown away,
The past remains a part of us, in every single day.
For in the endless journey, that life has gently cast,
The whispers of yesteryears, will always hold us fast.
