Whispers of Winter’s Breath

Poetry Image

When the world is draped in a cloak of white,
Silence sings its gentle lullaby.
Frosted trees stand tall in tranquil night,
Beneath the endless, starry sky.

The crisp air bites, sharp and clear,
As footsteps crunch on snow below.
The world, it sleeps, yet feels so near,
In winter’s tender, calming glow.

Icicles hang like crystal tears,
Reflecting light in cold embrace.
The quiet hum of yesteryears,
Echoes through this frozen space.

Winter’s breath whispers secrets old,
In every flake, a story told.
A season’s end, a tale unfold,
Of warmth to come and hearts consoled.
