Whispers of the Winter Solstice

Poetry Image

In the quiet hush of winter’s breath,
The solstice whispers secrets old,
Nights grow long in silent depth,
As stars above in frost unfold.

The earth in slumber, cold embrace,
Beneath the snow, dreams softly sing,
Shadows dance in moon’s soft grace,
Awaiting dawn, the light to bring.

Frosted branches, crystal gleam,
A world in white, serene and still,
Nature’s pause, a timeless dream,
The heart of winter, calm and chill.

Yet in the dark, a promise lies,
For every night, there comes a day,
The solstice turns, the sun will rise,
And light will chase the dark away.
