Whispers of the Wild: An Ode to Mary Oliver’s Nature

Poetry Image

In the gentle embrace of dawn’s soft light,
Nature whispers secrets to those who seek,
A tapestry woven in hues so bright,
Where meadows dance, and the rivers speak.

Beneath the canopy of ancient trees,
The woodland creatures stir and play,
Their songs of freedom carried on the breeze,
Guiding wanderers through the forest’s sway.

At the edge of the world where the oceans meet,
Waves crash with stories of distant lands,
The salty air a soothing, rhythmic beat,
Carved by time and nature’s gentle hands.

In every leaf, in every stone and sky,
Mary Oliver found her muse so true,
Her words a bridge to the wild, a sigh,
Inviting hearts to see, to feel, to renew.
