Whispers of the Silent Shadows

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows creep in
They whisper secrets of sorrow and sin
A mind adrift in a sea of despair
Seeking solace, but finding it nowhere

The days are long, yet pass in a blur
Each moment heavy, a constant stir
The light seems dim, the colors fade
In the depths of darkness, I am afraid

The weight of the world, it crushes my soul
A heart once whole, now bears a hole
Tears fall silent, unseen by the day
In the echoes of night, I quietly lay

Yet within this abyss, a flicker remains
A hope, a spark, amidst the chains
For even in the darkest night
The dawn will come, bringing light
