They weave their tales beneath the sea.

In caverns deep where sunlight fades,
They sing their songs in oceanic shades,
Of love and loss in tides they trust,
Their voices echo, ancient and just.

The coral reefs their palaces grand,
Jewels of the deep, sculpted by hand,
In silent splendor, they softly glide,
With secrets of the ocean as their guide.

Yet in their eyes, a longing gleam,
For a world beyond this liquid dream,
Where sky and sea in harmony blend,
A mermaid’s wish, to transcend.
