Whispers of the Final Breath: A Reflection on Mortality’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night, shadows fall,
Echoes of a life that once stood tall,
A whispered breeze through silent halls,
The curtain drops, the final call.

Memories flutter like autumn leaves,
Carried by the wind, a soul that grieves,
The heart remembers, the mind believes,
In love eternal, the spirit retrieves.

Beneath the stars, a journey ends,
A path unknown, where time transcends,
In death’s embrace, the soul ascends,
To realms where light and darkness blend.

Fear not the end, for it’s but a start,
A freeing of the weary heart,
In every end, new tales impart,
Death, a bridge where lives depart.
