Whispers of the English Dawn

Poetry Image

In the quietude of morning’s light,
English words take their flight,
Whispering tales of ancient lore,
On pages filled with evermore.

The cadence of a language pure,
In every poem, a soul’s allure,
From Shakespeare’s pen to modern days,
English sings in myriad ways.

Beneath the sky so vast and wide,
Words in English gently glide,
Through stories told and songs they weave,
In every heart, they find reprieve.

So let us celebrate this tongue,
With every verse and song that’s sung,
For in its depths, we find our voice,
In English, let us all rejoice.
