Whispers of the Earth: A Lament for Our Natural Treasures

Poetry Image

In the heart of verdant forests, whispers sigh,
Ancient trees stand tall, beneath the azure sky.
Rivers weave their tales, in a dance so free,
Nature’s gifts, a boundless, vibrant symphony.

Golden fields of grain sway in the breeze,
Oceans vast, their depths hold mysteries.
Mountains rise, their peaks kiss the heavens high,
Every stone and leaf, a testament to days gone by.

Yet shadows creep, of greed and careless hand,
Scars mar the land, where once proud stood the sand.
Fractured is the harmony, the balance shifts,
Echoes of what was, as time swiftly drifts.

Oh, heed the plea of Earth, our gentle, ancient guide,
Protect her treasures, with reverence and pride.
For in her arms, lies the future we must save,
A legacy of wonder, for generations brave.
