Whispers of the Disparity: Voices Unheard, Lives Unseen, Dreams Deferred, Hopes Dashed

Poetry Image

In the shadows where dreams decay,
Beneath the veil of a golden day,
Voices whisper tales of night,
Struggles hidden from the light.

In mansions tall where laughter rings,
Ignorance to the pain it brings,
On streets where hunger gnaws the soul,
Broken spirits pay the toll.

Children gaze with empty eyes,
Futures stolen by silent cries,
While power sits on lofty thrones,
Deaf to those with broken bones.

Yet hope still blooms in darkened soil,
In hearts that bleed, but do not spoil,
For one day justice will arise,
And lift the veil from blinded eyes.
