Whispers of the Changing Skies: A Lament for Our Earthly Home

Poetry Image

Beneath the vast and azure dome,
Where whispers of the winds once roamed,
Now heavy skies with worries weigh,
As nature’s songs begin to sway.

The forests speak in rustling sighs,
While rivers murmur their goodbyes,
Gentle tides now rise and fall,
Echoing a distant, urgent call.

Mountains stand, proud yet forlorn,
Guardians of a world reborn,
Their snowy caps begin to weep,
For promises we failed to keep.

In this fragile, fleeting dance,
We hold within a second chance,
To heal the earth, to mend the seams,
And breathe new life into our dreams.
