Whispers of Silent Pain: The Unseen Scars of Emotional Abuse

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where no light breaks,
A heart is bound, a soul that aches.
Words like daggers, unseen scars,
In silent nights, beneath the stars.

A smile that hides, a tear that falls,
In empty rooms, within these walls.
Echoes of hurt, a whispered cry,
In hollow dreams, where spirits lie.

Invisible chains, a tightened grip,
A sinking ship, an endless trip.
The mind it weaves, a tangled thread,
In morning’s light, a heart that’s bled.

Yet hope endures, a fragile bloom,
In darkness deep, it finds its room.
With strength unknown, it seeks the dawn,
Through whispered pain, a new day’s song.
