Whispers of Prejudice: Shadows in the Heart

Poetry Image

In the silent whispers of an ancient breeze,
Lies the shadowy specter of a mind at ease,
With eyes half-closed to the world beyond,
Where prejudice lingers, silent and fond.

Through the veils of time, it weaves its thread,
Binding hearts with fear, leaving words unsaid,
In the corners of minds where shadows play,
Prejudice thrives, in the light of day.

Yet in the dawning light of a brand new morn,
Hopes arise like a rose without a thorn,
To break the chains of ignorance and fear,
And see the world through eyes clear and sincere.

So let us rise, with hearts unbound,
To embrace the world in love profound,
For in unity, we find our true release,
And in understanding, we discover peace.
