Whispers of Love: Voices from the Past, Echoes of the Heart

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, where shadows softly creep,
We hear the whispers of the poets, who never truly sleep.
They speak of love in gentle verses, tender and profound,
Their words a balm to hearts, where true affection’s found.

From Shakespeare’s quill flowed sonnets, rich with ardent fire,
His lines igniting passions, endless and never to tire.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning, with her sonnets from the depths,
Spoke of love eternal, where true devotion never slept.

In the gardens of their musings, where roses bloom in time,
The echoes of their love songs, in every verse and rhyme.
Pablo Neruda’s fervent lines, in odes of love’s embrace,
Capture hearts with vivid colors, in every written space.

These poets, timeless dreamers, with ink and quill in hand,
Have painted love’s vast landscapes, across the grains of sand.
In every whispered stanza, their spirits still remain,
For love is ever living, in their words it shall sustain.
