Whispers of Longing in the Silent Night

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the evening’s glow,
Your absence sings a solemn tune,
Each star a distant, silent vow,
A longing heart beneath the moon.

The winds carry your gentle name,
Through rustling leaves and whispered sighs,
In dreams, your smile, a fleeting flame,
In waking hours, my heart complies.

A thousand miles may lie between,
Yet in my soul, you dwell so near,
In every shadow, every scene,
Your presence lingers, crystal clear.

Time may stretch its endless arms,
Yet still I wait, with patient grace,
For in the quiet, your love warms,
And fills the empty, sacred space.
