Whispers of Kerala’s Heartbeat: The Essence of Malayalam Life

Poetry Image

In the dawn’s embrace, the coconut trees sway,
Whispers of the backwaters, tales of yesterday,
Fishermen’s nets cast in the golden light,
Echoes of tradition, in the fading night.

Women in sarees, with jasmine in their hair,
Their laughter fills the air, a melody rare,
Children run freely, with dreams in their eyes,
Beneath the monsoon skies, where the rivers rise.

Festivals bloom, in colors so bright,
Temples resound, with chants in the night,
Kathakali dancers, with stories to tell,
The heartbeat of Malayalam, in every shell.

The essence of life, in every grain of sand,
Unity and love, holding hand in hand,
A culture so rich, a heritage so deep,
In the land of Kerala, where memories sleep.
