Whispers of Kashmir: A Land of Serenity and Strife

Poetry Image

Amidst the valleys where the rivers flow,
Lies a land cloaked in eternal snow,
Where whispers of the ancient winds do blow,
Kashmir, where the heavens seem to glow.

The lakes ripple with tales untold,
Of love and loss, both young and old,
A paradise in turmoil, a beauty bold,
In Kashmir’s heart, a story unfolds.

The mountains stand as silent guards,
Witness to joy and countless shards,
Of dreams that once soared like bards,
Now sing of peace in fractured regards.

Oh Kashmir, land of both night and day,
Your spirit strong, in disarray,
Amidst the chaos, you find your way,
In every heart, your essence will stay.
