Whispers of Forgotten Paths

Poetry Image

In the silence of the withering woods,
Echoes of laughter fade to shadows,
Where once vibrant steps lingered,
Only the sigh of leaves now remains.

Beneath the twilight’s gentle embrace,
Dreams once cradled in tender hands,
Drift like ships across a boundless sea,
Yearning for shores they’ve never known.

The moonlight casts a solitary glow,
Upon the paths no longer walked,
Whispering tales of yesteryears,
In the language of the night breeze.

Yet amid the solitude’s soft lament,
Hope weaves through the silent trees,
A promise that even in absence,
Love’s echo finds its way home.
