In the twilight of her mind, shadows softly play,
Memories drift like autumn leaves, silently away.
Faces of loved ones, once vivid and bright,
Fade into the mist, lost in the night.
Her eyes, windows to a world now blurred,
Echoes of laughter, faintly heard.
A name, a place, just out of reach,
Slipping through fingers, like sand on a beach.
In the garden of her thoughts, flowers once bloomed,
Now a barren landscape, silent and gloomed.
Whispers of moments, cherished and dear,
Drowned by the silence, swallowed by fear.
Yet in her heart, a flicker remains,
A spark of love, through the pain.
For though the mind may falter and sway,
The soul remembers, come what may.
