Whispers of Forbidden Touch: A Reflection on “Noli Me Tangere”

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where silence weeps,
A whisper echoes through the night,
“Do not touch,” the soul does plead,
In sacred pain and yearning’s plight.

The heart, a captive, silent screams,
Bound by chains of unspoken dreams,
In the garden of forbidden grace,
Where truth and freedom ever chase.

Yet hope, a flicker, softly glows,
Amid the thorns where courage grows,
For in the struggle of the soul,
Lies the strength to make one whole.

Oh, gentle soul, in shadows hide,
Seek the light where dreams abide,
For in the tale of untold fears,
Resides the power to dry all tears.
