Whispers of Faith Beneath the Stained Glass

Poetry Image

In the quiet hush of ancient halls,
Where light through stained glass softly falls,
Whispers of faith, so pure and true,
Reside in shadows, old and new.

The echoes of hymns from days gone by,
Rise and mingle with a sigh,
Of those who knelt in silent prayer,
Seeking solace, finding care.

The wooden pews, worn smooth with time,
Hold stories in their grain sublime,
Of joy and sorrow, hope and fear,
In this sacred space, so dear.

And as the candles flicker bright,
They cast a glow, a gentle light,
Upon the faces, young and old,
In this church, where love unfolds.
