Whispers of Eternity: Dickinson’s Dance with Death

Poetry Image

In the quiet shadows where echoes rest,
She finds the gentle grasp of Death’s embrace,
With silent steps, she treads the endless quest,
In whispered winds, she meets its timeless face.

Among the slumbering stars she softly roams,
Where life and light in twilight gently blend,
Her soul as light as whispered autumn poems,
In Death’s dark eyes, she meets a faithful friend.

Beneath the veil of night, she weaves her dreams,
Where fleeting moments find their quiet end,
In stillness, where the silver moonlight gleams,
She dances with the shadows, without bend.

In Death’s embrace, she finds not fear, but peace,
A gentle passage to the stars above,
In silence, all her earthly struggles cease,
In Death’s soft arms, she finds eternal love.
