Whispers of Deceit: The Tale of the Hypocrite

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where secrets lie,
A man of masks, beneath the sky.
With honeyed words, and gaze so sly,
He weaves his web, his truth awry.

The trust he earns, with feigned delight,
Yet in his heart, there burns no light.
With every smile, and every slight,
He hides his soul, from day to night.

But time unveils, the hidden face,
The cracks revealed, in his embrace.
The world will see, the fall from grace,
As lies dissolve, and truth takes place.

Beware the man, with double tongue,
Whose praises sung, with heart unstrung.
For in his wake, the pain is wrung,
A hypocrite, forever young.
