Whispers of Deceit: The Tale of a Hypocrite

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where whispers creep,
Lies the hypocrite’s sullen keep.
With words so sweet, but heart so cold,
His true intentions, never told.

He smiles so bright, but in the night,
His mask slips off, revealing spite.
Deeds of kindness, just a guise,
Beneath the surface, hatred lies.

A friend to all, or so it seems,
But reality shatters fragile dreams.
Trust misplaced in a facade,
A charade of virtue, deeply flawed.

Beware the one who wears two faces,
For in his heart, dark truth embraces.
His promises, like fleeting air,
Vanish, leaving only despair.
