Whispers of a Silent Heart

Poetry Image

In the shadows where I dwell,
Echoes of sorrow softly swell.
A heart once vibrant, now so frail,
Lost in a melancholy veil.

The nights are endless, void of light,
Dreams fade into the darkest night.
Hope once glimmered, now it hides,
Within these tears, my spirit slides.

Silent screams within my mind,
Peace and solace I cannot find.
A hollow soul, a vacant stare,
Drowning in the depths of despair.

Yet, in the silence, a faint plea,
For a dawn that sets me free.
To mend the fragments of my heart,
And from the darkness, to depart.
