Beneath the ashen skies we tread,
A world once pure, now choked with dread.
Rivers blackened, forests felled,
In nature’s grief, our sins are spelled.
The air we breathe, a toxic shroud,
Silent screams from nature loud.
Oceans weep with plastic tears,
As life succumbs to human fears.
The city lights, a ghostly glow,
In smog and smoke, they ebb and flow.
Our children’s dreams, now tainted grey,
In shadows long, they lose their way.
Yet hope persists, a fragile flame,
To heal the Earth, restore its name.
If we unite, our hearts aligned,
We can reclaim what we’ve maligned.
