Whispers of a Dying Earth

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the morning’s light,
Where once the forests stood so tall,
Now only echoes of their plight,
As nature heeds a harrowing call.

The glaciers weep as they retreat,
Rivers swelling with their tears,
A warming world beneath our feet,
Fueled by decades of our fears.

Oceans rise and storms grow fierce,
Skies once blue now tinged with gray,
Our planet’s heart begins to pierce,
With every passing, fleeting day.

Yet hope remains in hands that mend,
The wounds we’ve wrought, the damage done,
Together we might find the end,
Of climate change, a battle won.
