Whispers of a Broken Heart in the Quiet Night of Loneliness

Poetry Image

In the silence where shadows creep,
Love once vibrant now fades to grey,
Echoes of promises we couldn’t keep,
In the depths where memories lay.
The stars above seem distant now,
Each twinkle a tear from the sky,
In the darkness, I make my vow,
To mend the heart that learned to cry.
Embraced by solitude’s cold arms,
Where whispers haunt the sleepless mind,
Seeking solace in forgotten charms,
In the void where hope is blind.
Yet, love’s ghost lingers, bittersweet,
In every breath, in every sigh,
A dance of pain we cannot cheat,
As we learn to say goodbye.
