Whispers of a Broken Heart

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the night, my soul does weep,
For dreams once bright, now buried deep.
The silence speaks of love long lost,
A heart now cold, with heavy cost.

The moonlight casts a lonely glow,
On paths where joy no longer flows.
Each step I take feels like a chore,
In the echoes of what’s no more.

Tears fall like rain, a silent plea,
For solace in this endless sea.
The stars above, they do not care,
As I wander through this dark despair.

Yet in the depths, a spark remains,
A hope to rise above these chains.
For even in the darkest night,
A dawn will break, to bring new light.
