Whispers in the Silent Corners of a Fading Past

Poetry Image

In the quiet chambers where echoes lay,
Forgotten dreams drift like shadows at play.
Once vibrant voices now softly retreat,
Into the hush where the heartbeats discreet.

Time sweeps the dust from yesterday’s stage,
Turning bright pages to an unwritten age.
Memories linger like whispers in mist,
With gentle caress of the moments we missed.

Faces once radiant now merge with the gray,
Their laughter a melody that slowly decays.
In the realm of the unseen, they quietly fade,
Lost in the tapestry of memories unmade.

Yet in the silence where the forgotten reside,
A warmth still lingers, refusing to hide.
For in every heart where love once was sown,
A piece of the forgotten will always be known.
