Whispers in the Silence: A Tale of Unreturned Desires and Unseen Yearnings

Poetry Image

In shadows where my heart resides,
A gentle sigh whispers your name,
Yet your eyes, they seek the skies,
Unaware of this tender flame.

Every glance, a silent plea,
A hope that flickers, frail yet bright,
But you walk past, so carelessly,
Leaving dreams lost in the night.

The world you see, so vast and wide,
Holds no place for a love untold,
Yet my heart, it cannot hide,
From the warmth it longs to hold.

In the silence, I remain,
A witness to your distant gaze,
Bound by love’s sweet, aching chain,
In this unending, gentle maze.
