Whispers in the Silence: A Lament of Solitude in the Heart’s Depths

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, where shadows softly creep,
Lies a heart, forlorn and tender, in the silence deep.
Echoes of the past, like ghosts, within the mind entwine,
Whispers of what once was, in the dark, they pine.

Beneath the starlit sky, a soul wanders all alone,
Seeking solace in the night, where dreams are overthrown.
The moon, a distant witness, to the tears that fall unseen,
Reflects a world of sorrow, where loneliness has been.

The wind, a gentle mourner, sings a mournful tune,
Caressing empty spaces, beneath the silver moon.
Each note a silent testament, to the heart’s despair,
A melody of solitude, that lingers in the air.

In the stillness of the night, where only shadows roam,
A heart beats softly, yearning for a place called home.
Yet in the vast expanse, where silence reigns supreme,
It finds no comfort, only an endless, lonely dream.
