Whispers in the Shadows: The Silent Struggle with Depression and Anxiety

Poetry Image

In the quietest hours of the night,
When the world is fast asleep,
Shadows whisper secrets of fright,
And the heart begins to weep.

Anxiety’s cold grip tightens,
A storm within that never ends,
Every heartbeat fastens,
As reality distorts and bends.

Depression’s weight is heavy,
A cloak of sorrow draped around,
In a world that’s dark and dreary,
Where no solace can be found.

Yet within this endless struggle,
A glimmer of hope may gleam,
For even in the deepest troubles,
We can still dare to dream.
