Whispers in the Shadows: The Silent Cry of Violence

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, whispers haunt the air,
Shadows cast by moonlight, hiding violence’s glare.
A cry unheard, a plea unseen, in darkness it remains,
The heart that beats in terror, bound by unseen chains.

The scars upon the spirit, deep and yet so slight,
Hidden beneath the surface, far from hopeful light.
Every tear a river, each sob a crashing wave,
In the storm of violence, none can find the brave.

The silence is a witness, to the cruelty within,
A world that’s full of suffering, where peace can never win.
Each silent scream, a testament to pain that’s held inside,
In the darkness of the night, where innocence has died.

Yet hope is but a flicker, a spark that won’t fade fast,
In the hearts of those who suffer, a future free at last.
With strength and love united, the shadows start to fall,
And silence turns to voices, that answer every call.
