Whispers in the Shadows: A Journey Through Midnight’s Echoes

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, shadows start to creep,
Whispers echo softly, stirring restless sleep.
Darkness weaves its stories, painting fear in dreams,
Where echoes of the past meet the moon’s pale beams.

Through the tangled forest of thoughts, I wander lost,
Seeking out the daylight, no matter what the cost.
Figures dance like phantoms, in the corners of my mind,
In this realm of nightmares, solace is hard to find.

A chilling wind of doubt sweeps across the land,
Guiding me through corridors I cannot understand.
Yet in the heart of terror, a glimmer starts to show,
Hope flickers in the darkness, with a gentle glow.

Awake with the dawn, the shadows start to wane,
Leaving just a memory, a whisper of the pain.
The night may hold its fears, but the morning brings release,
In the light of day, I find my quiet peace.
