When Trust Turns to Shadows: A Tale of Friendship’s Betrayal

Poetry Image

In the garden of our laughter, where memories bloomed,
A serpent slithered, whispering deceit and doom.
Promises once golden, now tarnished and gray,
Trust shattered, friendship led astray.

We walked paths entwined, hearts open and bright,
Now, shadows linger where once was light.
Words once comforting, now cut deep and cold,
Betrayal’s mark, a story cruelly told.

In the silence of the night, I ponder and mourn,
The bond that was broken, the trust that was torn.
Echoes of laughter, now ghosts of the past,
A friendship’s betrayal, a wound that will last.

Yet from the ashes, I rise and renew,
Learning from the pain, finding strength anew.
Though trust was stolen, my spirit remains,
Forging new paths, breaking betrayal’s chains.
