When the Heart Learns to Release: A Journey of Letting Go

Poetry Image

In the quiet whispers of the night,
I find echoes of your gentle smile,
Memories dance like shadows in the light,
Yet, it’s time to walk this lonely mile.

The heart clings to moments of yore,
In its tender grasp, dreams of us remain,
But as the tides kiss the distant shore,
I must embrace the solace in the rain.

Our laughter once filled the empty space,
Now, silence weaves its delicate thread,
In letting go, I find a new embrace,
Paths untrodden by the tears we’ve shed.

With each breath, I release the tethered past,
Setting free the love held in my chest,
In this gentle act, my soul finds rest,
For in letting go, I learn to love the vast.
