When the Colors Fade Away

Poetry Image

In the dawn of whispered dreams,
Once vibrant hues now dim,
The laughter that once filled the seams,
Now echoes in shadows, grim.

The touch that sparked a thousand flames,
Cools in the gentle breeze,
Memories etched in silent frames,
Drift away with ease.

Words that danced in moonlit nights,
Now stumble and fall apart,
What once felt right, now takes flight,
Leaving an aching heart.

In the quiet of the fading light,
A love once bold, now whispers low,
A gentle sigh, a tender plight,
In letting go, we grow.
