When Skin Becomes a Barrier, and Love is Left Behind, Shadows of Prejudice Spread, Yet Hope Still Fights

Poetry Image

In a world where colors blend, yet hearts remain divided,
The echo of your voice, silenced by the ignorance of the blind.
The shades of skin, a palette of our shared humanity,
Yet walls are built, in minds so narrow, hearts confined.

Eyes that see not the soul, only the tint of flesh,
Judgments cast like stones, breaking bonds so dear.
Misunderstood, misjudged, in shadows we are enmeshed,
A world of whispers, where love is shadowed by fear.

Across the chasms of hate, bridges of hope still rise,
Hands reaching out, to break the chains of past.
In unity, we find strength, in diversity, our prize,
Together we stand, in a love that will forever last.

So let us dream, of a dawn where all are free,
A tapestry of life, woven with threads of grace.
Where every face reflects the beauty of humanity,
And in each heart, the light of acceptance finds its place.
