When Silence Cloaks the Streets: The Echoes of Martial Law

Poetry Image

In the shrouded night, where shadows creep,
The silence reigns, where freedom weeps.
Under the weight of a heavy decree,
The world is hushed, as dreams flee.

Chains of order bind the sky,
As whispers of rebellion softly cry.
The moon observes with a watchful eye,
As hope clings to the breathless sigh.

Marching footsteps, a cold embrace,
In every corner, fear finds its place.
Yet in the heart, a flame remains,
To break the shackles, to heal the pains.

Through the darkness, a dawn will break,
When courage rises for freedom’s sake.
And in the light, the truth will stand,
A testament to the strength of land.
