When Shadows Whisper: Remembering the Silence After You’re Gone

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, whispers call your name,
Soft echoes of laughter, now shadows in the frame.
Memories dance like fireflies, fleeting yet bright,
Illuminating the darkness, a gentle, tender light.

Your absence, a melody, haunting and deep,
A song of love and longing, where silence dares to creep.
The spaces you once filled now linger in the air,
A testament to moments, to dreams we used to share.

I walk on paths, familiar, yet somehow estranged,
Each step a reminder, how life has quietly changed.
The world continues spinning, in its endless, silent way,
Yet here I stand, in shadows, where memories gently sway.

Though time may pass, and seasons endlessly renew,
The heart forever holds a place, tender and true.
For love that once was shared, will never truly part,
You live within the whispers, the echoes of my heart.
