When Shadows Whisper of Friendship’s End

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of my heart,
Where echoes of laughter once danced,
Now linger shadows soft and dark,
Memories of a friendship past.

Once, we walked on paths entwined,
Sharing dreams beneath the stars,
But time’s gentle hands unwind,
Leaving only silent scars.

The world feels vast, and I am small,
Without your light to guide my way,
In solitude, I hear the call,
Of moments lost to yesterday.

Yet in the whispers of the night,
I find a flicker of your smile,
A reminder that, though out of sight,
Our bond endures across the miles.
