When Shadows Fade Away and Memories Blur

Poetry Image

In the silent corners of the heart,
Where echoes of laughter once lived,
The whispers of forgotten dreams,
Begin to fade, as if they never were.

The leaves of time fall gently,
Covering the paths we walked,
Erasing footprints of moments shared,
Until all that’s left is dust and air.

Faces blur like mist in morning light,
Voices drift like autumn winds,
The warmth of touch grows cold,
As the pages of our story fold.

Yet in the quiet of the night,
A shadow of you still lingers,
A ghost of a memory, faint but true,
Forever etched in the soul.
