When Mother’s Breath Ceased to Sigh

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, her spirit took flight,
Leaving behind an echo of her tender light.
The stars seemed to weep, as heaven’s gate opened wide,
Welcoming the soul of my eternal guide.

Her hands, once warm, now cold and still,
No longer to cradle, no longer to heal.
Memories of her laughter linger in the air,
A melody of love that will always be there.

The world feels emptier, a void hard to fill,
Her absence a wound, a heartache so real.
Yet in my dreams, she softly appears,
Whispering solace, drying my tears.

Though death has claimed her, she lives in my heart,
A part of my soul, never to part.
In every sunrise, in every gentle breeze,
Her essence remains, setting my sorrow at ease.
