When Love Must Drift Away Like Autumn Leaves

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, I hear your whispers fade,
Like the softest breeze through trees now bare,
The echoes of our laughter, memories we made,
Drift away on the cool, crisp autumn air.

The stars above watch over our parting ways,
A bittersweet farewell under the moon’s gentle glow,
Our hearts heavy, yet bound to separate days,
As we learn to let love go.

Tears may fall like rain in the quiet of dawn,
Each drop a testament to the love we shared,
But with each sunrise, a new hope is born,
In the strength we find, knowing we cared.

So here’s to the moments, those we hold dear,
And to the future, where our paths diverge,
Letting go is never easy, but we’ll persevere,
For in every ending, new beginnings emerge.
