When Love Fades into Shadows of Memories

Poetry Image

In the quiet whispers of the night,
Echoes of our laughter linger still,
Where once your presence was my light,
Now shadows fill the spaces you used to fill.

The warmth of your touch has grown cold,
As time erodes the dreams we built,
Stories of love remain untold,
Leaving only echoes of sweet guilt.

The paths we walked now overgrown,
With memories wrapped in thorns,
A garden of love we once had sown,
Now choked by the weight of forlorn.

Yet in my heart, a tender trace,
Of what we were, still softly breathes,
In the silence of this empty space,
Where love once lived and now just grieves.
