When Hearts Drift, The Silence Grows

Poetry Image

In shadows where our whispers fade,
We tread on paths once brightly laid.
The echoes of what used to be,
Now linger in the vast empty.

Once vibrant colors, now subdued,
Under the weight of solitude.
Words once spoken, now retreat,
Leaving silence, bittersweet.

Memories weave a fragile thread,
Binding moments that we once said.
Yet time unravels the woven art,
As distance pulls our souls apart.

In the quiet, we search for light,
In hopes to mend this endless night.
But hearts that drift in silent sea,
May find their peace in setting free.
