When Dreams Crumble, Hearts Tremble

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows softly weep,
Hopes once high now buried deep.
Dreams like fragile glass have shattered,
Leaving hearts worn and battered.

Promises whispered on the wind,
Turn to echoes, cold and thinned.
The light of trust begins to fade,
As disappointment casts its shade.

Eyes once bright now filled with sorrow,
Searching for a kinder tomorrow.
The weight of broken dreams to bear,
In silent moments of despair.

Yet in the midst of all this pain,
A flicker of hope might still remain.
For even in the darkest night,
The dawn will bring its healing light.
